Why Is My Gift Still Pending?

If you've noticed that one of your gifts is listed as Pending, there's usually no cause for concern. A Pending status simply means your gift has not yet entered fulfillment or shipment. Depending on the gifting program, a gift may remain Pending until its scheduled production or shipping window.

What does 'Pending' mean?

A Pending status indicates that your gift has been scheduled and is waiting for production or
shipment. Gifts may remain Pending while waiting for a scheduled shipment date, seasonal
campaign, production, payment review, or updated recipient information.

 

How long will my gift remain Pending?

Top of Mind gifts follow a seasonal schedule. Birthday gifts are processed shortly before the
recipient's birthday. Transaction Package gifts are scheduled around transaction milestones.

 

Can I still make changes?

Before production begins you may still be able to update the recipient, address, gift message, or
request other eligible changes. Once production begins, some changes may no longer be available.

 

Tracking Information

Tracking becomes available after the gift ships. If your gift is still Pending, it has not yet entered the
carrier's network.

 

When to Contact Support

Contact Support if your gift has remained Pending longer than expected, you need to update
recipient information, or believe the gift should already have shipped.
